Duke Energy Convention Center, 3rd floor Ballroom "A"
Time?
Registration opens at 3:00 p.m.
Side games begin at 3:00 p.m.
Tournament starts at 4:00 p.m.
How many are playing?
500 players
How many players at a table?
10 plus the dealer, including the celebrity
How can I register?
a. By phone with credit card
b. By mail with check/credit card
c. Online with credit card
d. During Redsfest with cash or credit card (based on availability)
e. At registration table at event 3-5 p.m. with cash or credit card (based on availability)
Cost?
Buy-in is $200 (2,000 in chips) includes food and beverage
$175 before 11/20, $200 after 11/20
Are there Re-Buys?
Yes, three (3) at $50 (2,000 in chips) each in the first 90 minutes. Must be purchased prior to break. The player must have 2,000 or less in chips.
Is there an Add-On?
Yes, one (1) at $50 (5,000 in chips) after break at 90 minutes. Everyone is eligible. Must have chips/active in the game.
What is the payout?
50% payout to top 20 players based on 500 players (Celebrity earnings benefit the Reds Community Fund)
Can I watch and not play?
$60 to observe, which includes food and two drink tickets
How long will the tournament last?
Scheduled for five (5) hours
Who are the dealers?
Experienced volunteer dealers
Who is the Charity or who is the beneficiary?
The Reds Community Fund is the official nonprofit organization of the Cincinnati Reds. Since its inception in 2001, the Community Fund has been dedicated to improving the lives of youth through its baseball-themed outreach efforts.
