KANSAS CITY -- The Kansas City Royals will partner with the Kansas City Power and Light District to host a viewing party as the Royals take on the Cardinals at Busch Stadium in St. Louis on Tuesday, June 17. Game time is set for 7:15 p.m. The free game-watching party, which begins at 6:15 p.m., will be held at KC Live! in the Kansas City Power and Light District in downtown Kansas City. The game will be displayed on the area's 192-square foot videoboard.

The event will feature a live broadcast with Neal Jones and Marty Wall of the "Neal and Marty" show on 610 Sports radio and great giveaways including autographed Royals items. In addition, Miller Lite along with several of the restaurants and stores in the Kansas City Power and Light District - including Famous Dave's, Ted's Montana Grill, Sprint Studio, Tengo Sed Cantina, McFadden's Sports Saloon and Gordon Biersch Brewery - will host promotions and specials during the viewing party. Fans in attendance will have the chance to interact with Kauffman Stadium in-game host Tim Scott and the 2008 K Crew as well as register to win tickets to upcoming Royals games.

The Kansas City Power and Light District, an eight-block area that opened in downtown Kansas City in 2007, hosts several promotions throughout the summer including free, weekly concerts, the Hot Country Nights series and Saturday Sprint Family Fun Days.
