AAA COURTESY SERVICE
AAA provides a courtesy truck for guests who experience vehicle trouble. The truck is available from approximately 30 minutes prior to each home game until 45 minutes after each game. Guests may go to Guest Services to arrange AAA courtesy service.

ALCOHOL POLICY
Kauffman Stadium guests are encouraged to drink responsibly. Guest must be 21 years of age or older to purchase and consume alcohol. Proper identification is necessary to purchase any alcoholic beverages. All alcohol sales will conclude in the end of the 7th inning. Stadium Management reserves the right to discontinue sales at any time. Guests will not be allowed to bring alcohol into or out of Kauffman Stadium. Guests will not be permitted to enter the stadium if they appear intoxicated. Drunk and disorderly behavior, or violation of any alcohol policy will result in ejection from the stadium without refund.

ANTHEM AUDITIONS

ATMs
Cash dispensing machines are available on Plaza level at section 244 & 211; on Loge Level near the escalator behind home plate; and on View Level in both food court areas. Service is provided by Commerce Bank.

Baby-changing tables are available in all men's and women's public restrooms at Kauffman Stadium.

Bags that exceed a maximum size of 16x16x8 and hard-sided coolers are not allowed into the stadium.

BANNERS & SIGNS
Banners may be displayed in the stadium provided the banner/sign does not block the view of others, interfere with the game, contain advertising of any form, present a safety hazard, or contain political or obscene material. Banners may not be affixed with any type of material that is permanent in nature that alters the facility in any manner or covers any existing stadium signs. Poles and sticks are prohibited. The Royals reserve the right to remove any banner.

BASEBALL BATS
Guests are not permitted to have baseball bats inside Kauffman Stadium. Guests who bring bats to the gates must return them to their cars. Guests who receive bats from players must check them at Guest Services. When available, broken bats may be purchased at stadium novelty stores.

BATTING PRACTICE
Normally, the Royals conduct batting practice from 4:50 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. while visiting teams hit from 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for a 7:10 p.m. game. Royals take BP from 3:50 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. and visiting teams from 4:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for a 6:10 p.m. game. Royals hit from 10:50 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and visiting teams hit from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a 1:10 p.m. game. Batting practice times are subject to change or cancellation.

CABS
Cabs are available at the intersection of Red Coat Drive and Royal Way just outside Kauffman Stadium near Gate D. Guests may go to Guest Services to order a cab.

CAMERAS/VIDEO EQUIPMENT
Although still and video cameras are welcome in the stadium, please do not set up tripods or block the view of other guests. Flash photography of the game and videotaping of the game action, however, is strictly prohibited.

CATERING
Looking for a unique place to host a wedding, meeting, reunion or corporate event? The newly remodeled Kauffman Stadium is the perfect place for any of these. For more information please contact Catering Sales Department at 816-504-4016.

CHILD ADMISSION
Children 32 inches in height and under do not need a ticket to enter Kauffman Stadium. However, they must sit on the lap of an accompanying adult. Fold-up strollers must be stored under your seat. Fans are encouraged to leave non-folding strollers in the car. Please be aware of those seated around you.

COURTESY GOLF CARTS
Sponsored by Enterprise, the fan-assist shuttles will operate for each of the Royals 81 home games, shuttling fans from the Truman Sports Complex parking lots to the Kauffman Stadium gates. Prior to the game, Fan Assist staff members provide shuttle service from for guests from the parking lots. After the event, cart shuttles pick up guests at Gates A, B, D, and E. All cart shuttles will drop off on the perimeter of the parking lots. Disabled courtesy cart pick up locations are available at all Gates and will transport handicapped guests to their vehicles.

CREDIT CARDS
Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards are accepted for ticket orders placed on the Royals Charge Card Line (1-800-6-ROYALS), at the Stadium Advance/Future Ticket Windows, Stadium Ticket Booths and on-line. Tickets may be charged up to 24 hours prior to a game on the charge line and will be mailed or placed at a Royals Will Call Window.

CROWN SEATS
Guests interested in purchasing Crown Seats may call the Season Ticket office at 816-921-8000. Crown Seat ticket holders enjoy a number of benefits including meals, snacks and beverages in the exclusive Crown Club, and in-seat wait-service.

DISABLED GUEST SERVICES

For your convenience, there are ample reserved parking spaces available for disabled fans with properly licensed or tagged vehicles. There is also a designated entrance at each gate for easy access into Kauffman Stadium. All restrooms are accessible throughout the stadium. Elevators are located near the escalators on both the first and third base side and in the Diamond Club Lobby. Reserved seat locations for wheelchairs with one companion are available on every level. Should a guest need assistance in reaching their seat, transportation wheelchairs are available at Gates A, B, D & E. Wheelchairs must be returned once the disabled guest has reached his or her seat.

To purchase seats in Accessible Seating sections, click on the Purchase Tickets link in the schedule for the game you would like to attend. On the bottom of the purchase page, there is a link titled "Click Here for Accessible Seating Requests". Click this link and fill out the form to request seating in Accessible Seating sections.

Arrangements for the wheelchair seating areas may be made in advance by calling the Royals Charge Card Line at 800-6-ROYALS and are subject to ticket availability. These seats are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Accessible ticket windows are available day of game at all gates.

DESIGNATED DRIVER PROGRAM
Registrants for the Budweiser Designated Good Sport Program must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid Drivers License. In return for promising responsibility for the safe and sober transportation of their group from the Stadium, all participants' names will be entered into a drawing and the winner's name will be displayed/announced on the CrownVision video board. To register visit Guest Services located on the Plaza Level behind the Diamond Club lobby or on the View Level behind home plate at section 420. The winner can pick up his/her prize at Guest Services located on the Plaza Level behind the Diamond Club Lobby. The office is available at gate opening and closes approximately 15 minutes after game ending.

DONATIONS
Charities and nonprofit organizations seeking support for an upcoming event or program should complete the Donation Request Form » The form must be received four weeks prior to the event. Organizations located within the Royals drawing area are eligible to apply (Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma).

DUGOUT SUITES
Dugout suites seat up to 35 people in each and are available for lease on a single-game basis. Guests must also purchase specially priced tickets for the suite they are leasing. E

ELEVATORS
Elevators are located near the escalators on both the first and third base side and in the Diamond Club Lobby. Diamond Club Lobby elevators are designated for guests with tickets for the Crown Club, Diamond Club, Loge and Triple Crown Suites, and are accessible for any handicapped guests. In the event of an emergency evacuation of the stadium or during inclement weather, elevators will be used for handicapped guests only.

EMPLOYMENT
If you are interested in working for our Event Staff, please come by the stadium and enter through Gate C to pick up an application. Applications will not be mailed.

ESCALATORS
There is one escalator located behind home plate on the Plaza Level, and there are escalators located next to the spiral ramps on both the first and third base side. The escalators will not be operated during an emergency evacuation of the stadium or during inclement weather. Guests who have difficulty walking should use the elevators.

EXIT AND RE-ENTRY
To help ensure everyone's safety, the Kansas City Royals have a no re-entry policy at Kauffman Stadium. Guests will be allowed to exit and re-enter the stadium through the Truck Gate in the event an emergency is encountered while attending any event at the stadium. The Truck Gate is located behind section 234 on street level. All guests should remember to have his or her game ticket punched by a Royals associate at the Truck Gate to re-enter the stadium.

Letters to all Royals players should be addressed to the individual player and mailed to: Kansas City Royals Baseball Club, Fan Mail, P.O. Box 419969, Kansas City, MO 64141-6969. FIREWORKS
A burst of fireworks follows each Royals home run. There are firework displays after every Friday night home game (weather and wind conditions permitting).

FIRST AID
The main First Aid office is located on Plaza Level behind the Diamond Club Lobby. There is a satellite First Aid office located on View Level behind home plate at section 420.

FIRST GAME CERTIFICATE
First Royals game? Visit either of the Guest Services offices to receive an official certificate to celebrate your first Royals game! The main Guest Services office is located on Plaza Level behind the Diamond Club Lobby, and the satellite office is located on View Level behind home plate at section 420.

FIRST PITCH
First pitch opportunities are provided to corporate sponsors, dignitaries or Royals Charities auction opportunities. The most common way for a person to throw out a first pitch is through a large group that visits the stadium. Groups of 1,500 or more are allowed the opportunity to have a representative throw out a first pitch (subject to availability). For information on bringing a group to the game, please visit the Groups Sales Information page or contact the Group Sales Department at 816.504.4040.

FOOD AND DRINK
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests at the ballpark, large bags, coolers, alcoholic beverages or other liquid containers are not permitted. Guests may bring food and water into the stadium, provided the water is in a plastic bottle or cup and the food is packaged in soft-sided containers that do not exceed the maximum size of 16x16x8 inches. Purses and diaper bags (with accompanying infants) will be permitted, provided they do not exceed the maximum size.

FOUL BALLS
Guests are permitted to keep foul balls. However, guests must not enter the playing area or lean over the rails to retrieve baseballs.

FUN RUN
Following each Sunday afternoon home game, field conditions permitting, all fans can run once around the bases on the field courtesy of Sprint. A parent or guardian should escort young children. For specific lineup procedures, guests should ask an event associate. Promotional Schedule »

FUTURE GAME TICKET WINDOW
Future game tickets are available during games at the Future Game Ticket Window, which is located on Plaza Level behind the Diamond Club. The window is open until 30 minutes after the last out of the game.

GAMEDAY GREETINGS
Commemorate a special birthday or anniversary or just say "Hi!" with a Gameday Greeting shown on the video boards at Kauffman Stadium. Each message is $50 and includes a 4x6 commemorative photo recreated at a later date (game information will NOT be displayed in the photo). GATES OPEN
For the remainder of the season, all stadium gates will open 1.5 hours before game time for Sunday-Thursday games and 2 hours before game time on Friday & Saturday. Stadium services are available once gates open. Please note that the Outfield Experience will no longer open one hour early.

*On Thursday, September 24 Gates A & E will open at 4:00 p.m. to accommodate Girls Night Out in the Outfield Experience. All other gates will open at the regular time of 5:30 p.m. DRI DUCK Fountains seats will be available for sale at Gate E starting at 4:00 p.m.

Groups of all sizes are welcome at Kauffman Stadium with groups of 20 or more being recognized on the Kauffman Stadium LED Left and Right Field Video Displays. ROYALS HALL OF FAME (Now Open!)
Visit the Royals Hall of Fame located inside Gate A on the left-field Plaza Level concourse. Stop by and learn the history of the Royals and professional baseball in Kansas City. Fans can see the Royals 1985 World Series Championship trophy and other artifacts from Cy Young Awards to Frank White's eight Gold Gloves and George Brett's 3,000th hit bat and baseball. Plus, check out the plaques which honor each of the twenty-three members of the Royals Hall of Fame.

INFIELD PRACTICE
Royals take infield practice from 4:40 to 4:50 p.m., 3:40-3:50 p.m. and 10:40 to 10:50 a.m. for 7:10 p.m., 6:10 p.m. and 1:10 p.m. games, respectively. Visitors take infield from 6:30-6:40 p.m., 5:30 to 5:40 p.m. and 12:30 to 12:40 p.m., respectively. Infield Practice times are subject to change or cancellation.

The Outfield Experience is new for 2009. The Outfield Experience consists of the John Deere Little K, MLB2K9 Game Lounge, Sluggerrr's Golf Stop at The K, Fast Pitch, Batting Cages and Base Running presented by Farmer's Insurance and the Carousel. It is also the location of the Royals Hall of Fame, Rivals Bar and Grill, Sheridan's Frozen Custard, Topsy's, the Miller Lite Fountain Bar, DRI Duck Fountain Seats, Pepsi Party Porch, and the Fox Sports Broadcast booth. PAGING SERVICES
Paging is available for extreme medical emergency situations only. Should an emergency exist, please contact a Royals associate or go to Guest Services, on Plaza Level behind the Diamond Club Lobby, or on View Level behind home plate at section 420. Please leave your seat location with babysitters so a Royals associate may locate you, should the need arise.

PARKING
Parking spaces are available for vehicles and buses. The Truman Sports Complex provides spaces reserved for vehicles displaying disabled permits or tags. The complex exceeds in the number of disabled parking spaces required by the ADA. Parking is $9* for cars and motorcycles, $11* for oversized vehicles and $15* for buses and empty tractor-trailers. An oversized vehicle is any vehicle that takes up more than one parking space. In case of a rainout, parking is refundable and season ticket holders receive a new parking pass.

PETS
Pets are not permitted inside Kauffman Stadium. However, service dogs (guide dogs for persons with disabilities) are permitted in the stadium.

Royals games are broadcast locally on KCSP 610 AM, plus additional stations throughout the Midwest (subject to change).

RADIOS/TELEVISIONS
Hand-held radios and televisions are welcome at Kauffman Stadium as long as they do not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the game. The Royals reserve the right to ask any guest to discontinue the use of such devices.

RAINOUTS (For July 20 Rainout Information click here)
In the event five (5) innings of the game are not played (except when the home team is leading at the end of 4 1/2 innings) and the game is rescheduled, this ticket will be honored for admission to the officially rescheduled game (location of this ticket - section, row and seat - carries over to the rescheduled game). In the event that the game is cancelled (and not rescheduled) or played as part of a "traditional" doubleheader (one admission for both games), the Kansas City Royals will publicize specific directions and guidelines for ticket exchange. Should a special event/promotion be cancelled for reasons or developments beyond the control of the Royals, there will be no refunds or exchanges. This ticket is good only for this particular game and no part of the purchase price will be refunded by reason of the failure of the holder to use it for this game.

RE-ENTRY POLICY
There is no re-entry permitted for any event held at Kauffman Stadium. Once a fan has exited through the stadium gates, they are not permitted back into the stadium unless it is an emergency situation.

RIVALS SPORTS BAR
Rivals Sports Bar, located just beyond the stadium's signature fountains in right field, boasts one of the best vantage points in the New K. Floor-to-ceiling glass offers dynamic views of the playing field and they are enhanced even further on warm days when the retractable warehouse doors provide an open-air setting. A bank of flat screen HDTVs - including an exceptional 103" display-- compliments the custom-made 360 degree bar. SCORECARDS
Scorecards come in every issue of Royals Gameday Magazine, available for purchase at the stadium on game days for $5, at the stadium ticket office, by calling 1-800-6-Royals or on-line at royals.com beginning in April 2009. Scorecards can also be purchased separately for $2 at souvenir stands.

SECURITY MEASURES
The following items are prohibited from Kauffman Stadium:

  • Bags/purses in excess of 16"x 16"X8"
  • Backpacks in excess of 16"x16"x8"
  • Liquid containers of any kind/type (water in plastic cups or bottles is acceptable)
  • Weapons/fireworks
  • Items that could be projectiles
  • Cameras with 12" or more lenses
  • Banners or flags with sticks in them
  • Bullhorns/airhorns
  • Lasers or laser pens
  • Brooms in excess of 4 feet in height
  • Coolers of any kind
  • Anything that can obstruct a fans view
  • Wrapped presents and/or gifts of any kind*

*Please note that if you have a planned party of any kind that includes gifts, we advise either wrapping the gift item at Kauffman Stadium after the item has been inspected or place the unboxed gift item in a gift bag. Our security staff will ask guests to open any wrapped items.

If any of the above items are discovered at our gates, our security staff members will ask that you return these items to your vehicle or be thrown away. Prohibited items will not be stored at the gates or guest services.

SEASON TICKETS

SEATING POLICY
Guests should sit only in the seats for which they hold valid tickets.

SLUGGERRR
Sluggerrr, the Royals mascot, makes numerous public appearances throughout the season. Sluggerrr is available for corporate events, charity fundraisers, birthdays or other private parties. Through Royal Rallies, Sluggerrr visits area elementary schools stressing the importance of staying in school, avoiding drugs, getting involved in positive activities, and using 'Royal' manners. SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the structure of Kauffman Stadium. Designated smoking areas are located along the perimeter fence line between Gates B & D and along the perimeter fence line between Gates A & E. Smoking is allowed in these designated areas only.

STADIUM CLUB
As part of the Kauffman Stadium renovations, the Stadium Club has received a number of enhancements fro the 2009 season. At the same time, the capacity of the Stadium Club has been reduced by over 50%. The Royals offer two different tiers of Memberships. Current Stadium Club Members have the first opportunity to secure Memberships for 2009. The ticket office and call center hours (816-504-4040) are as follows:

TICKET SCALPING
Re-sale of Royals tickets and/or parking passes is not permitted on the Complex. To avoid problems with counterfeit, stolen or inflated-priced tickets, guests should purchase tickets only through authorized ticket outlets.

TOURS
Tours will be offered Monday through Saturday until September 30. Beginning October 1, tours will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. "The Classic" tour includes stops at the Royals Hall of Fame, press box, Royals interview room, Royals dugout, and visitors clubhouse (when available). "The All-Star" tour includes these stops plus a commemorative Kauffman Stadium baseball cap and stops at a luxury suite, Dugout Suite, Stadium Club, party deck, and the Royals bullpen. A "Grand Slam" tour includes the "All-Star" tour features, plus an autographed baseball, a 4x6 photo, and additional stops, all from the comfort of a limousine golf cart, complete with complimentary bottled water.

UMBRELLAS
Guests may bring small umbrellas into Kauffman Stadium as long as they do not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the game. For the comfort and consideration of all guests, it is requested that those using umbrellas be considerate of those around them.
