The Royals recognize the importance of working together to make a difference in our community. Through these programs we aim to address the needs of our teammates off the baseball field.

Welcome Home Luncheon
The Royals launch the new season at the annual Welcome Home Luncheon. At the popular luncheon, Kansas Citians get an up-close and personal view of the entire roster of Royals players and coaches.
Royals Community Ticket Program
The Royals provide thousands of complimentary tickets each year to nonprofit groups in the Kansas City area through the Royals Community Ticket Program form. program as well as the Commissioner's Initiative for Kids program. Through this effort, the Royals enhance the lives of underprivileged and at-risk youth, the medically dependent or disabled, and senior citizens. Royals & Chiefs Operation Blessing: Two Teams, One Goal
The Kansas City Royals join forces with the Kansas City Chiefs to feed more than 3,000 needy people in Kansas City. Utilizing Operation Blessing's trucks full of food and more than 200 volunteers, the group packages and distributes food and toys at a location in Kansas City. Under the heading "Two Teams: One Goal," Operation Blessing provides immeasurable support for the people of Kansas City.
Viva Los Royals
The Royals join forces with the Guadalupe Center of Kansas City to host a "Viva Los Royals" celebration to benefit the Guadalupe Center of Kansas City. Kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month, the event features a special pre-game concert and other festivities.
Girls' Night Out
Every woman needs a night out with friends and we've got the perfect game plan! Each season, the Royals host Girls' Night Out, inviting the ladies to a special pre-game Happy Hour that features free chair massages, scrapbooking clinics, wine tasting and cheese, player interviews and more! Proceeds from the event benefit charities such as Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the American Heart Association. More »
Blood Drive
Kansas City residents arrive in droves to support the annual Royals Blood Drive. Blood donors at several locations throughout the city receive Royals T-shirts, tickets, food and autographs from Royals alumni and players. . Royals Caravans
To launch the baseball season, Royals players, coaches, alumni, mascot, and front office staff visit communities throughout the Midwest. Each winter, the Caravan visits schools, hospitals, day cares, shopping malls and radio stations in outer markets. Buck O'Neil Legacy Seat Program
To honor O'Neil and his contribution to Kansas City, the Royals have created the contest that will fill "Buck's seat" for every 2009 home game with a member of the community who, on a large or small scale, embodies an aspect of O'Neil's spirit. More »
