Benefits Prostate Cancer Foundation and Royals Charities

The Royals will host a premier silent auction on the concourse behind sections 101-102 at Kauffman Stadium from 5-8:30 p.m.

The auction will benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation as well as Royals Charities and will feature one-of-a-kind memorabilia from the Royals as well as other teams around the Major Leagues.

Royals and Royals Charities Support Prostate Cancer Foundation: On Thursday, June 12, the Royals held Prostate Cancer Awareness Day at Kauffman Stadium. Prior to the Royals-Texas Rangers game, Manager Trey Hillman and outfielder/first baseman Mark Teahen presented the Prostate Cancer Foundation with a $5,000 grant on behalf of Royals Charities.

In addition, the Royals participated in a Prostate Cancer Awareness game in Arizona on Father's Day - Sunday, June 15. Both the Royals and the Diamondbacks players donned light-blue wristbands in support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Check out the photos »
