Thank you for joining us for the Royals Awards Luncheon presented by Sprint and Teva on Wednesday, January 11, at the Overland Park Convention Center. During this special event, the club recognized a select group of honorees for their exceptional contributions both on and off the field in 2011.

Award recipients already announced include Bruce Chen, the 2011 Bruce Rice Pitcher of the Year; Alex Gordon, the 2011 Les Milgram Player of the Year; and first baseman Eric Hosmer, the 2011 Joe Burke Special Achievement Award winner.

Event presenters will include Hall of Famer George Brett, former Royal and five-time American League All-Star Mike Sweeney, and Royals Hall of Famer Willie Wilson. In addition, Royals General Manager Dayton Moore, Manager Ned Yost and members of the club's baseball operations department will participate in a roundtable discussion hosted by FSKC's Ryan Lefebvre.
