 Make your baseball dreams a reality at a Royals Fantasy Camp. You will be guided by Royals legends as you suit up in your Royals uniform, join a team, get instruction from an All-Star line-up of coaches, and play several games at the Surprise, AZ, Spring Training Facility. This will be one week you'll never forget!
The event is planned for February 2-7, 2009.
The package costs $3700 and includes:

- You've dreamed about it since childhood.... Now live it for a whole week. This is your once-in-a-lifetime chance to enter the world of Major League Baseball and live your dream to play with the Kansas City Royals Alumni.
- Will I just be warming the bench? »
- For one magical week you'll take the field in your very own Royals uniform complete with your name and number. Play with the pros for a full week in Surprise, Arizona, the winter home and Spring Training site of the Royals. You will be coached by the best in the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, pitching and base running.
- Where do we play? »
- The 2009 Royals Alumni Fantasy Camp will be held at the Royals Spring Training Camp in Surprise, Arizona. The $48 million facility is approximately 35 minutes northwest of Phoenix, past Sun City West off Highway 60. It is located on 125 acres in the vicinity of Bullard Avenue and Bell Road. The complex is designed by Kansas City architectural firm, HOK. The facility is shared by the Royals and Texas Rangers and has a total of 14 practice fields. This spectacular complex, which opened in 2003, is considered the gem of the Cactus League.
- Is there any special recognition during or after the camp for fans who attend the camp? »
- During the 2009 Royals season, all Alumni Fantasy Campers will have the opportunity to participate in a special awards ceremony, including an on-field appearance in their own uniform at Kauffman Stadium.
- Who can attend? »
- Anyone 30 years old and over can attend. You must be in good health and willing to leave the cares of the world for a week.
- When is it? »
- The camp runs from February 2-7, 2009. Campers will arrive in Phoenix on Monday, February 2 and depart on Saturday, February 7.
