Thank you for your inquiry regarding Royals tryout camps. Below please find a list of the open tryout camps to be conducted by the Kansas City Royals in 2013. The camps are listed in chronological order.
These camps are open to players age 16 or older. Players selected by another major league organization in the 2013 June Free Agent Draft are not eligible to attend.
Each player is required to sign a liability waiver. If player is under age 21 a parent or guardian must also sign the waiver.
We strongly recommend you attempt to attend a camp close to your home since you are responsible for all of your own expenses including transportation.
There is no registration fee for these camps which last approximately half a day. Please report promptly for registration one half hour prior to the time listed and bring your own personal equipment (shoes, glove, etc.). If you do not have a uniform, you should wear loose-fitting clothing which will allow you to move freely.
Each camp will be conducted by the Royals scout responsible for coverage in that particular area of the country. Due to weather or other unforeseeable problems, any of these camps are subject to change or cancellation.
