This is a list of the open tryout camps to be conducted by the Kansas City Royals in 2011. The camps are listed in chronological order.

These camps are open to players age 16 or older. Players selected by another major league organization in the 2011 June Free Agent Draft are not eligible to attend.

Each player is required to sign a liability waiver. If player is under age 21 a parent or guardian must also sign the waiver (PDF - 54 kb). You may print it out from this web site and take it along with you to the tryout.

We strongly recommend you attempt to attend a camp close to your home since you are responsible for any travel or other expenses associated with your attendance.

There is no registration fee for these camps. Please report promptly for registration one half hour prior to the time listed and bring your own personal equipment (shoes, glove, etc. ...). If you do not have a uniform, you should wear loose-fitting clothing which will allow you to move freely.

Each camp will be conducted by the Royals scout responsible for coverage in that particular area of the country. Due to weather or other unforeseeable problems, any of these camps are subject to change or cancellation.
