1985 ALCS vs. Toronto Blue Jays

In the first American League Championship Series featuring two expansion clubs and a best-of-seven format, Kansas City defeated Toronto four games to three. The Royals came back from a 3-1 deficit by posting wins in Games 5, 6 and 7 at Exhibition Stadium in Toronto. Jim Sundberg's three-run triple highlighted a four-run sixth inning that sealed the victory in Game 7.
