FOX Sports Kansas City is in its second season as the exclusive television home of Royals baseball. FOX Sports Kansas City delivers an expansive Royals television schedule, including 140 regular-season games, Royals Live pregame and postgame shows, Spring Training coverage and many games in High Definition. Royals games on FOX Sports Kansas City and FOX Sports Midwest are available in Kansas City, Kansas, western and central Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Arkansas and Oklahoma. - Royals on FOX Sports Kansas City on Cable Television and Telco
- Royals games are found on cable TV on the FOX Sports Kansas City/FOX Sports Midwest channel number. In the immediate Kansas City area, that includes Time Warner (channel 59), Comcast (channel 48 in Independence, Mo.; 73 in Olathe, Kan.), Everest/Surewest (channel 30), AT&T (channel 750) and FairPoint (channel 128).
- Royals on FOX Sports Kansas City on DirecTV and Dish Network
- Royals games on FOX Sports Kansas City are available within much of the MLB-designated Royals televison territory on DirecTV and Dish Network. On DirecTV, Royals games air on channel 672. On Dish Network, Royals games air on a sports alternate channel between 444 and 453 or in the 470s.
- Royals on FOX Sports Midwest in Central Missouri
- All of FOX Sports' Royals telecasts are available to fans in central Missouri. Of the 140 telecasts, 46 air on the main FOX Sports Midwest channel on cable. The remaining 94 games air on cable on an alternate channel (Mediacom channel 14, 19, 20 or 22; CableOne channel 78). On DirecTV, all Royals games air on channel 672. On Dish Network, Royals games air on a sports alternate channel between 444 and 453 or in the 470s. Fans in central Missouri also continue to receive St. Louis Cardinals telecasts.

- FOX Sports Midwest televises select Royals games in Iowa. Click here for the 2009 Royals schedule for Iowa.
- Royals telecasts in Arkansas and Oklahoma
- Beginning in 2009 Royals telecasts are available in Arkansas and Oklahoma. On cable in most areas or Arkansas and Oklahoma, fans can watch select Royals games on an alternate cable channel (rather than the channel designated for FOX Sports Southwest/FOX Sports Oklahoma). On DirecTV (channel 672) and Dish Network (sports alternate channel 444-453 or 470-475), fans in Arkansas and Oklahoma can watch all 140 games televised by FOX Sports Kansas City by subscribing to the SportsPack on DirecTV or the Multi-Sport package on Dish.
- Watching the Royals outside of Royals TV territory
- Major League Baseball designates geographic territories to which each team can show its regionally-televised games. The areas listed above are within the Royals TV territory. - Royals on FOX Sports Kansas City Announcers
- Ryan Lefebvre and Paul Splittorff form FOX Sports Kansas City's primary play-by-play team for Royals baseball. In addition, Frank White will serve as analyst on the Royals Live postgame show and will call select games from the booth. Joel Goldberg hosts the Royals Live pregame and postgame shows that surround Royals telecasts.
