Trevor Vance, Director-Groundskeeping and Landscaping

Trevor Vance begins his 19th season as the Royals Director-Groundskeeping and Landscaping, overseeing the supervision and overall operation of the natural grass field at Kauffman Stadium. Vance joined the groundcrew as a part-time member in 1985 and became a full-time member of the staff in 1988. He was named Assistant Groundskeeper in 1993, before assuming his current post prior to the 1995 season.

Vance is a native of Raytown, Mo., and a 1985 graduate of Raytown High. He also attended Central Missouri State University. He resides in Lee's Summit, Mo., with his wife, Laura. They have four children, Kelsie, Hayden, Tanner and Morgan.
