Autism Awareness Day

The K

Join the Kansas City Royals and Autism Speaks to help raise awareness for Autism Spectrum Disorders on Autism Awareness Day at Kauffman Stadium on Sunday, May 4, against the Detroit Tigers. Autism is a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and is the result of a neurological disorder that affects functioning of the brain, impacting development in the areas of social interaction and communication skills. The Royals, Major League Baseball, and Autism Speaks have joined forces to create a fun, safe, and family friendly environment for families who are a part of the Speaks family. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit Autism Speaks.

Tickets will be available for purchase online only leading up to the event on May 4th. Specific sections in the Fountain Seats and Outfield Box seats have been blocked off for this event. We anticipate having a "quiet zone" for families to utilize if their child is having any sort of difficulty during the event. Consult your usher for more details when that situation occurs.

For more information or to order 20 or more tickets please contact Britt Gardner at (816) 504-4174 or by email at
