Join the Kansas City Royals and Autism Speaks to help raise awareness for Autism Spectrum Disorders on Autism Awareness Day at Kauffman Stadium on Sunday, July 26, 2015, against the Houston Astros. Autism is a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and is the result of a neurological disorder that affects functioning of the brain, impacting development in the areas of social interaction and communication skills. The Royals, Major League Baseball, and Autism Speaks have joined forces to create a fun, safe, and family friendly environment for families who are a part of the Speaks family.
Tickets will be available for purchase online only leading up to the event on July 26th. Specific sections in the Fountain Seats and Hy-Vee View seats have been blocked off for this event. We anticipate having sensory friendly areas for families to utilize if their child is having any sort of difficulty during the event near both seating options. Consult your usher for more details if that situation occurs.
