Preview the Renovated Kauffman Stadium-April 5

The Kansas City Royals will give fans a sneak peek at the newly renovated Kauffman Stadium on Sunday, April 5 from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. During this free event, guests will have an opportunity to preview all of the ballpark's new amenities and attractions prior to the official Grand Re-Opening on Friday, April 10 when the Royals host the New York Yankees at 3:10 p.m. Reserve your tickets online »

John Deere Little K

• Future big leaguers can start their careers on the new and improved John Deere Little K. Take a pitch from the K Crew and try to hit it over the outfield wall or take a spin around the bases on the new turf field.

Sluggerrr's Pitching Mound

• Think you can throw as fast as Zack Greinke? Test your pitching prowess at Sluggerrr's Pitching Mound and clock your best time.

MLB2K9 Game Lounge

• Major League Baseball® 2K9 captures the essence of baseball down to some of the most player-specific details including batting stances, pitching windups and signature swings. The MLB2K9 Game Lounge allows you to test your skills.

Sluggerrr's Batting Challenge

• Step up to the plate and swing for the fences at Sluggerrr's Batting Challenge.

Sluggerrr's Golf Stop at The K Presented By The Golf Stop

• Even Sluggerrr likes a day on the links, as long as it's at the ballpark. Hit the greens on the five-hole, baseball-themed mini golf course presented by The Golf Stop.

Carousel

• Take a spin Royals Style! Enjoy the new Carousel with hand-carved horses decked out with Royals gear. And, don't forget to look for Sluggerrr. He couldn't miss out on the fun!

Playground

• Climb up to the tallest lookout point and take a ride down the royal blue slide at the new playground.

Special Offer: To celebrate the 40th Anniversary, there will be a limited number of $400 full-season ticket plans available during the open house event. The most affordable season ticket plan ever offered at Kauffman Stadium, this special offer includes View Level Infield tickets to all 2009 home dates, excluding Opening Day. However, fans taking advantage of this offer have the opportunity to secure tickets to the home opener at regular prices.
