Registration for the 2013 Kansas City Royals Opening Day ticket opportunity will begin at 12:00 p.m. CT January 3, 2013, and end at 5:00 p.m. CT February 6, 2013 (the "Registration Period"). The Royals will conduct a random drawing of winners from the pool of valid registrants. The drawing winners will have the opportunity to purchase Opening Day tickets to see the Royals before they go to public sale. Tickets will be available to winners on a first-come, first served basis only while tickets remain. Exact date, times and instructions for ticket purchase opportunity will be communicated by e-mail to each registrant selected. If a selected registrant does not follow these instructions, he or she will forfeit the opportunity to purchase tickets during this ticket opportunity. There is no charge to register for this opportunity. There is no obligation to buy a ticket. There is no assurance that any particular registrant will be selected. Winners may not transfer this purchase opportunity.
You may not use any tickets purchased in connection with the drawings for any promotional purposes whatsoever. Registrations and drawing selections have no cash redemptions or substitutions. In order to be eligible for this opportunity, you must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of January 3, 2013. In addition, you must complete and submit the entry form located above during the Registration Period. Limit one (1) entry per person.
In the case of multiple entries for the same individual, only the first entry received will be considered. Only registrations submitted via this online form on Royals.com during the Registration Period will be entered in the random drawing. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other mechanical or automated means will not be valid.
A random drawing for the opportunity to purchase up to two (2) tickets to 2013 Opening Day at Kauffman Stadium will be held on or about Thursday, February 7, 2013. Each registrant selected will be notified via the e-mail address submitted on the registration form. Those registrants whose names are selected shall have an opportunity to purchase up to two (2) tickets at a date and time to be indicated in the e-mail. In the event that the winner does not purchase tickets in the timeframe indicated, a disqualification will result. Please be sure to provide us with an accurate e-mail address. Neither MLB Advanced Media, L.P. nor the Royals are responsible for any e-mail notifications that are bounced back or misdirected.
