This Day in Baseball History
June 29, 1990 > Dave Stewart of the Oakland A's and Fernando Valenzuela of the Los Angeles Dodgers each pitch no-hitters. Stewart blanks the Toronto Blue Jays, 5-0, before Valenzuela shuts down the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-0. This marks the first time that two pitchers throw complete game no-hitters on the same day.
