The Royals were swept for the 12th time this season in a 6-2 loss to the Devil Rays on Sunday at Tropicana Field.

The Royals are on a four-game losing streak after having taken two out of three from the Chicago White Sox.

Right-hander Runelvys Hernandez will start for the Royals when they begin a three-game series on Tuesday at Boston. Hernandez pitched six innings and allowed five runs on five hits on July 27, but the Royals came back to win, 6-5, in 13 innings.

Right-hander Tim Wakefield will pitch for the Red Sox. Wakefield pitched 7 1/3 innings and allowed one unearned run on six hits against Tampa Bay on July 27 en route to a 4-1 victory.
