The Royals were swept for the 12th time this season in a 6-2 loss to the Devil Rays on Sunday at Tropicana Field.

Right-hander Tim Wakefield will pitch for the Red Sox. Wakefield pitched 7 1/3 innings and allowed one unearned run on six hits against Tampa Bay on July 27 en route to a 4-1 victory.
