PEORIA, Ariz. -- Infielder Luis Hernandez was re-assigned to the Royals' Minor League camp after Sunday's game.

Hernandez, a non-roster player, batted .231 (9-for-39) in 14 Cactus League games. Primarily a shortstop, he signed as a Minor League free agent this winter after playing briefly for the Baltimore Orioles in the last two years.

The move reduces the Royals' Spring Training roster to 37 players.
