Omaha moved to 2-0 at New Orleans, with both games decided by a single run. Johnny Giavotella recorded three hits, two RBIs and a run in his hometown. The University of New Orleans product has five hits and five RBIs in the series and a 20-game hitting streak (.393, 33-for-84). Ramirez and Moore added solo homers for the Storm Chasers. Adcock pitched six innings and allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits and two walks.
NW Arkansas Naturals (6-26 in second half, 43-59 overall)

LP: Yordano Ventura (0-2 with NW Arkansas, 3-7 overall)
Northwest Arkansas dropped to 0-2 vs. Tulsa, losing its sixth straight overall. The Drillers held a 1-0 lead into the ninth, when they plated five. The Naturals brought the tying run to the dish before falling short. Ventura limited Tulsa to a run on two hits and a walk over seven innings. Ventura fanned seven, bringing his combined total to 114 strikeouts in 93 2/3 innings. Christian Colon recorded a pinch-hit single in his first appearance since returning from a rehab assignment with Surprise.
Wilmington Blue Rocks (17-16 in second half, 46-57 overall)
Wilmington 4, Frederick 1
WP: Elisaul Pimentel (3-1 with Wilmington, 5-6 overall)
Pimentel's complete game led Wilmington to an afternoon win over Frederick. Pimentel held the Keys to a run on five hits and a walk while fanning four. It was the first complete game for Wilmington since June 13, 2010 (Chris Dwyer). Dwyer's complete game was a suspended game, making this the first true complete game since 2007. The Blue Rocks scored three in the third and a run in the fourth. Lane Adams, Geulin Beltre, Juan Graterol and Adrian Morales each drove in runs.
Kane County Cougars (16-15 in second half, 50-51 overall)

LP: Angel Baez (5-3)
Kane County lost the series opener as Wisconsin scored five runs in the second off of Baez (five innings, six hits, five earned runs, three walks, five strikeouts). Justin Trapp recorded two hits, an RBI, a run and his 20th stolen base of the year. 2012 first-round pick Kyle Zimmer is slated to make his Kane County debut tonight.
Idaho Falls Chukars (17-19)

WP: Sam Selman (4-0)
SV: Fernando Cruz (three)
HR: Diego Goris (two with Idaho Falls, five overall)
Idaho Falls completed the road trip at 5-2. Second-round pick Selman fanned nine while yielding just three hits and a walk over six innings. Goris went 4-for-5 with a grand slam and four runs scored.

The Appy League's top team enjoyed an off-day on Wednesday. They are at Pulaski (Mariners) tonight.
Surprise Royals (12-15)
Surprise 9, AZL Indians 4
WP: Dylan Sons (2-1)
Surprise scored three in the first and never trailed in its home win. Mauricio Ramos posted three hits, three RBIs and a run. Alfredo Escalera-Maldonado added three hits, three runs and an RBI. The 17-year old is batting .333 (28-for-84). Sons (4 1/3 innings, four hits, one earned run, four walks, one strikeout) earned the win in relief.
