Omaha lost the first of four at Oklahoma City. Ryan Verdugo was solved for six runs on six hits and two walks over 5.0 innings. Wil Myers became the first minor league player to reach 30 home runs this year. He added a single and two walks. Tony Abreu notched his 31st double, which ties him for fourth in the PCL.

Northwest Arkansas scored eight in the first and matched a season-high with 12 runs. Mario Lisson hit a three-run homer in the first on his way to a 3-for-5 night. He finished a double shy of the cycle with four RBI. Christian Colon recorded two hits in the first, capping the scoring with a two-run double. Michael Mariot scattered three hits and two walks over 6.0 scoreless stanzas.

Wilmington let a 4-1 lead slip away in a contest that was halted after seven innings due to rain. Leondy Perez (4.0 IP, 2 H, 1 ER) made his return to the Blue Rocks after three rehab outings with Surprise due to an elbow injury. Juan Graterol hit a two-run homer and Matt Fields added a solo shot. Fields has gone deep four times in six games and 13 times in his last 25 contests. Luis Piterson finished 3-for-3 with a double.
Kane County Cougars (17-17 in second half, 51-53 overall)

Kane County earned a walkoff win with two in the ninth. Danny Mateo tripled home Henry Moreno to tie the game. Mateo scored on a single by Jack Lopez. Starter Kyle Smith held Quad Cities to two runs on six hits and two walks through 5.0 IP. Cody Fassold and Jason Mitchell worked 2.0 scoreless innings apiece.
Idaho Falls Chukars (17-21)

Idaho Falls lost a second straight vs. Grand Junction. The Rockies scored pairs in the first and fourth innings off of Clayton Schulz (6.0 IP, 8 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, 3 SO). Ethan Chapman went 2-for-5 with two runs, extending his hitting streak to nine games (.382, 13-for-34). Nick DelGuidice recorded three hits and a run.

Burlington's 10-game winning streak was halted as Pulaski plated two in the ninth. Patrick Leonard recorded three hits, two RBI and a run. Terrance Gore added two hits, an RBI, a run and his league-leading 18th stolen base. Starter Patrick Conroy yielded four runs (three earned) along with seven hits and a walk over 6.0 innings. Burlington hosts Princeton (Rays) tonight.

The Athletics and Royals resumed a suspended game from July 4. Rain stopped play in the eighth on Saturday, with Surprise taking the loss. The contest scheduled for Saturday was postponed.
