A look at what's happening in Royals baseball for the week of January 31 - February 6:

MONDAY, JANUARY 31
Royals Caravan in Surprise, Ariz.
Royals pitchers D.J. Carrasco and Kyle Snyder along with minor league hitting instructor Andre David will be making stops around Surprise, Ariz., promoting the upcoming Spring Training season. The Caravan Schedule includes:

  • 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. - Meet & Greet at Sun Village, 14300 W. Bell Road, Kachina Room
  • 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. - Meet & Greet at Sun City Grand, 19781 N. Remington Drive, Chaparral Cntr.
  • 11:45 - 1:00 p.m. - Press Luncheon at Macayos, 15565 W. Bell Road
  • 1:15 - 2:00 p.m. - Meet & Greet at Willow Canyon High School, 17901 W. Lundberg Street
  • 2:30 - 3:30 pm - Meet & Greet at Wal-Mart, 13770 W. Bell Road

    13th Annual Baseball Forecast Luncheon sponsored by the Kansas City Sports Commission

    Zack Greinke and David DeJesus will receive their Royals Pitcher and Player of the Year Awards. They will be joined by pitcher Jose Lima, Manager Tony Pena, Royals Owner David Glass, General Manager Allard Baird and others. A lucky fan will win a trip to Royals Spring Training including airfare, hotel accommodations and tickets to a game.
