Hillman thinks replay has some value
By Dick Kaegel / MLB.com
"I think it all comes down to whether or not it slows the game down more," Hillman said. "There are some arguments there. If an umpire has a tough call, and the manager comes out and asks, and you can make up that time by going over quickly and checking out a replay, I think there's some merit to that."
Hillman noted that baseball is pushing ways to speed up games and needs to guard against any slowdowns. There are some limits to replay, in his view.
"As far as balls and strikes and things of that nature, I don't think it ever needs to go to that -- or to calls on the bases," he said.
