Pina, 25, re-signed after being outrighted to Triple-A Omaha and becoming a free agent. He had knee surgery during Spring Training and returned to play primarily for Double-A Northwest Arkansas, where he hit .260 average in 43 games. He spent September on the Kansas City roster but got into just one game.
Gac, a 6-foot-3, 240-pound right-handed hitter, has spent 10 years in the Minors but has never played above Double-A. He batted .247 with seven home runs and 35 RBIs in 75 games this year for Double-A Mississippi in the Braves organization.
The 27-year-old was selected by the Rangers in the 26th round of the 2003 First-Year Player Draft. He was named Carolina League Most Valuable Player in 2011 when he had 33 homers, 96 RBIs and a .279 average for Winston-Salem, a Class A affiliate of the White Sox.
Durango, 26, has played briefly in the Majors for the Padres and the Astros during his career. This year he stole 46 bases to lead the International League and hit .289 in 132 games for Gwinnett, the Braves' Triple-A team. He's a speedster but no power hitter, with just three home runs in 3,155 Minor League plate appearances.
He's now playing for Caribes in the Venezuelan Winter League, hitting .324 with five stolen bases in 21 games.
