Omaha Storm Chasers (53-56)

Omaha is alone in first place after a fourth-straight home win. Danny Duffy fired five shutout innings, scattering two hits and two walks while recording seven strikeouts. The Storm Chasers broke a 1-1 tie with three runs in the seventh. Christian Colon singled home Gorkys Hernandez for the go-ahead tally.
NW Arkansas Naturals (21-16 2nd half, 46-61 overall)
Springfield 6, NW Arkansas 5
LP: Jason Bergmann (0-2)
HR: Matt Fields (27)
The Naturals split a four-game set at Springfield. Sugar Ray Marimon allowed four runs, eight hits and a walk over six innings. Matt Fields put Northwest Arkansas on top with a two-run single in the first. He added a solo home run in the seventh. Fields leads the league in both homers (27) and RBIs (74).
Wilmington Blue Rocks (15-21 2nd half, 48-58 overall)
Carolina 1, Wilmington 0
LP: Sam Selman (7-8)
Wilmington lost the opener as Carolina pushed across a run in the fourth. Sam Selman was the tough-luck loser as he limited the Mudcats to a run, four hits and three walks over five innings. Selman fanned eight, bringing his total to 88 in 93 2/3 innings. Yem Prades doubled and is batting .316 (12-for-38) since joining the Blue Rocks from Northwest Arkansas.
Lexington Legends (23-13 2nd half, 56-48 overall)
Lexington 9, West Virginia 6

HR: Michael Antonio (5), Fred Ford (11)
Christian Binford fanned 12 over six shutout innings to lead Lexington past the Power. Binford scattered five hits and a walk while lowering his ERA to 1.89 (23 ER in 109 1/3 IP). Bubba Starling posted two hits and three RBIs, bringing his team-leading RBI total to 48. Raul Mondesi added two hits, a walk, three runs and a stolen base.
Idaho Falls Chukars (18-18)
Idaho Falls 3, Grand Junction 2
WP: Glenn Sparkman (1-0)
HR: Zane Evans (3)
Beau Maggi's pinch-hit double in the ninth scored Carlos Garcia, lifting Idaho Falls to a road win. Zane Evans put the Chukars on top with a two-run homer in the first. He finished 3-for-4, needing only a triple to complete the cycle. Luke Farrell (5 IP, 4 H, 2 ER) carried a shutout into the fifth. Jon Fitzsimmons and Glenn Sparkman tossed two scoreless innings apiece.
Burlington Royals (17-19)
Danville 4, Burlington 2
LP: Kevin McCarthy (2-2)
Burlington dropped the finale versus Danville. Starter Kevin McCarthy limited the Braves to two runs, four hits and a walk over six innings, exiting a 2-0 game. Tyler Chism and Ramon Torres had two hits apiece for the Royals.
Surprise Royals (2-1 2nd half, 12-19 overall)
Surprise 7, Arizona Mariners 2
WP: Igor Feliz (1-1)
HR: Brawlun Gomez 2 (5, 6)
Brawlun Gomez slugged two home runs, leading the Royals to a home win. He capped a four-run first with a two-run blast, then hit a solo shot in the eighth. Samir Duenez added three hits and two RBIs. Igor Feliz earned the win, holding the Mariners to two runs, seven hits and two walks over 5 1/3 innings.
