Left-handed pitcher Everett Teaford's contract purchased by LG Twins

KANSAS CITY, MO (March 30, 2014) - The Kansas City Royals announced today that left-handed pitcher Everett Teaford's contract has been sold to the LG Twins of the Korean Baseball Organization.
Teaford, 29, was invited to Major League spring training this year, but was assigned to minor league camp on March 14. The left-handed hurler went 4-6 with a 3.49 ERA in 31 appearances (14 starts) at Triple-A Omaha in 2013 and made one appearance at the Major League level. Teaford is 3-5 with a 4.25 ERA in 45 big league outings in his career - all with Kansas City.
