Omaha won a second consecutive game behind two-run homers from Francisco Pena and Justin Maxwell. Johnny Giavotella added a two-run double and Brian Bocock was 3-for-4 with a run. Bocock is batting .317 (38-for-120) since joining Omaha. Sugar Ray Marimon (6.0 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 1 SO) earned the win. Casey Coleman worked the final 3.0 innings for his first save of 2014.

NW Arkansas Naturals (24-42)

The Naturals evened a road set at a game apiece as ninth-ranked Royals prospect Orlando Calixte delivered a go-ahead RBI in the seventh. Ethan Chapman was 3-for-4 with a run scored. Lane Adams added two hits and a run. Sam Selman struck out five while holding Springfield to two runs on five hits and a walk over 5.0 innings plus a batter.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (30-34)

Carolina at Wilmington - Postponed due to rain

The Blue Rocks returned to Wilmington and were washed out for a second straight night. A doubleheader is scheduled for tonight, with the first seven-inning contest to start at 5:05 Eastern.

Lexington Legends (29-38)

Lexington 6, Charleston 4

HR: Fred Ford (7)

Fred Ford's two-run homer highlighted a five-run seventh as Lexington rallied from a 3-0 deficit. 18th-ranked Royals prospect Humberto Arteaga went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, two RBI and a run. Starter Matt Tenuta struck out three while scattering three runs on five hits and a walk over 6.1 innings.
