Omaha Storm Chasers (41-33)

The Storm Chasers had their division lead cut to a half-game after a second straight loss to Albuquerque. Sugar Ray Marimon struck out four while allowing four runs, nine hits and four walks over 5.2 innings. 15th-ranked Royals prospect Christian Colon led Omaha with two hits. Brett Eibner, Justin Maxwell and Jimmy Paredes each added a single. Danny Valencia was 0-for-3 with a walk in the third game of a rehab assignment.

NW Arkansas Naturals (3-0 second half, 28-45 overall)

Northwest Arkansas 4, Tulsa 2

HR: Lane Adams 6

Northwest Arkansas has won four in a row after an opening victory vs. Tulsa. Micah Gibbs delivered a go-ahead, two-run double in the fourth. Lane Adams added two hits, including his fourth home run over his last three games. 2013 first-rounder and sixth-ranked Royals prospect Hunter Dozier was 0-for-3 in his Double-A debut. Eighth-ranked Royals prospect Jason Adam struck out 10 while holding the Drillers to two runs, six hits and a walk over 5.1 innings.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (0-1 second half, 33-36 overall)

Myrtle Beach 8, Wilmington 2
LP: Luis Santos (0-1 with Wilmington, 4-2 overall)
HR: None

Wilmington lost the opener of a three-game set at Myrtle Beach. Luis Santos struck out three while yielding five runs, seven hits and a walk over 6.0 innings. Seventh-ranked Royals prospect Bubba Starling tripled home a run and finished 2-for-4. Terrance Gore added a sac fly RBI and his 22nd stolen base, which ties him for fourth in the league.

Lexington Legends (0-1 second half, 29-42 overall)

Delmarva 7, Lexington 5
LP: Andrew Edwards (2-3)
HR: Mauricio Ramos (1)

Lexington lost the second-half opener as Delmarva scored seven runs over their final three turns. Mauricio Ramos recorded his fifth multi-hit game in his last 10, going 3-for-4 with his first homer of the year. He's batting .362 (21-for-58) in June. Jake Junis (5.1 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 4 BB, 2 SO) carried a shutout into the sixth.

Idaho Falls Chukars (1-3)

Orem 10, Idaho Falls 7

HR: Samir Duenez (1)

Idaho Falls finished the season's first series at 1-3. Samir Duenez hit his first professional home run, a three-run shot in the first. He finished with four RBI. Mike Hill reached base five times, going 4-for-4 with two doubles and a run. Hill was a 22nd-round pick in this year's draft. Jecksson Flores recorded two hits and two runs.

Burlington Royals (0-1)

Pulaski 8, Idaho Falls 7 (12 innings)

HR: Brandon Dulin 2 (1, 2)

Burlingon dropped the season opener as Pulaski's Yordi Calderon hit a walk-off homer in the 12th. Lee's Summit North product Brandon Dulin hit a pair of homers for the Royals, finishing 3-for-5 with three RBI. 17-year old Marten Gasparini was 3-for-6 with a run in his professional debut. The native of Italy signed last July 2 and is ranked 20th among Royals prospects by MLB.com.
