Omaha Storm Chasers (43-37)

Omaha tied the game at 5-5 in the ninth before losing on a three-run walk-off homer by Oklahoma City's Domingo Santana. The Storm Chasers jumped out to an early lead on Jimmy Paredes' three-run triple in the first. Johnny Giavotella was 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and two runs. Starter Ryan Verdugo went 5.0 innings, striking out four while allowing three runs, six hits and a walk.

NW Arkansas Naturals (5-4 second half, 30-49 overall)

NW Arkansas 8, Midland 2
WP: J.C. Sulbaran (5-5)
HR: Orlando Calixte (7)

The Naturals built an 8-0 lead on their way to a rubber game win at Midland. 2013 first-rounder and sixth-ranked Royals prospect Hunter Dozier continued his hot hitting, going 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run. He's batting .333 (10-for-30) through seven games in Double-A. Angel Franco added three hits, an RBI and two runs. Orlando Calixte capped the scoring with a two-run homer. J.C. Sulbaran held the RockHounds to a run on three hits and four walks while striking out five over 6.1 innings.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (4-5 second half, 37-40 overall)

Lynchburg 5, Wilmington 0
LP: Glenn Sparkman (3-2)
HR: None

The Blue Rocks were no-hit for a second straight night, this time by Cody Scarpetta (7.0 IP, 1 BB, 7 SO) and Benino Pruneda (2.0 IP, 1 BB, 2 SO). Scarpetta retired the first 17 batters before Terrance Gore drew a walk in the sixth. It is the first time Wilmington has been no-hit twice in one season. Glenn Sparkman pitched well in defeat, holding the Hillcats to one run, seven hits and a walk while striking out five over a career-high 6.0 innings.

Lexington Legends (3-6 second half, 32-47 overall)

Lexington 5, Augusta 4
WP: Matt Tenuta (3-7)
HR: None

Lexington held on for a series-opening win, with the GreenJackets scoring three in the ninth. Frank Schwindel tripled home two in the first, then added a run-scoring single in the eighth. Mauricio Ramos drove in a pair. Matt Tenuta struck out six while limiting Augusta to a run on five hits and a walk over 5.0 innings.

Idaho Falls Chukars (5-7)

Idaho Falls 9, Grand Junction 0
WP: Ashton Goudeau (1-0)
HR: None

The Chukars rolled to a second straight win. Every Idaho Falls batter recorded at least one hit. Jecksson Flores was 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs. Brawlun Gomez added a triple, an RBI and three runs. Bryan Brickhouse tossed 4.0 shutout innings, striking out three while allowing just one hit and one walk. Ashton Goudeau (3.0 IP) picked up the win.

Burlington Royals (3-6)

Burlington 4, Elizabethton 3
WP: Andrew Brockett (1-1)
HR: None

Burlington won the finale vs. Elizabethton by scoring two in the ninth, with Riley King's single scoring pinch runner Marten Gasparini for the game-winner. Joshua Banuelos was 2-for-4 with two RBI. Lee's Summit North grad Brandon Dulin added an RBI triple. Chase Darhower tossed 5.0 scoreless innings, striking out four and yielding a lone hit.
