Graterol wins Texas League Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY -- Royals first-base prospect Juan Graterol was named the Player of the Week in the Texas League on Monday.
Graterol hit .526 with three doubles and a home run last week at Double-A Northwest Arkansas.
The monster week elevated Graterol's slash line to .292/.325/.401 at Northwest Arkansas this year.
The 25-year-old Venezuelan has spent time at Triple-A Omaha as well this season.
Fans are tuning in for Royals' playoff push
KANSAS CITY -- The Royals' seventh straight win Sunday was the team's highest-rated game telecast this season.
The 7-4 triumph over the Giants, broadcast on FOX Sports Kansas City, generated a 10.1 household in the Kansas City market, per Nielsen.
Additionally, the game trumped the final round of the PGA Championship (7.2).
It marked the completion of a three-game sweep of San Francisco, and all three games were the highest-rated program in Kansas City that day.
Top-seeded KCK knocked out of RBI World Series
KANSAS CITY -- Kansas City Kansas RBI was knocked out of the 2014 Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities World Series tournament on Sunday.
Top-seeded KCK fell, 3-2, to Cleveland Baseball Federation RBI at Colleyville, Texas, in the quarterfinals.
KCK starting pitcher Isaiah Campbell earned the Player of the Game award with his solid six-inning, seven-strikeout performance.
