Ryan Feierabend couldn't get comfortable against the Royals, as he gave up 10 runs on eight hits in just 1 1/3 innings. The deficit was too much for the Mariners to overcome, as they lost their second straight game -- and lost Kenji Johjima in the second inning to injury.
The Royals got started early on Tuesday, when they batted around in the first inning to hang six runs on Mariners starter Ryan Feierabend. Designated hitter Billy Butler did most of the damage, collecting a career-high six RBIs on his tater in the first and his double in the second. He also added a single in the seventh.
