Comeback short-lived
Indians 5, Royals 4
Mark Teahen dives but can't get to Jason Michaels' RBI single in the first. (Tony Dejak/AP)
After leading early, the Royals needed Tony Pena Jr.'s sacrifice fly in the ninth inning to tie it, only to see their hopes of winning fade on Ryan Garko's RBI single in the bottom of the inning. Cleveland had tied it in the fourth with the help of two K.C. miscues.
