Twins 11, Royals 6
Scott Baker allowed four runs, but kept the Twins in the game. (AP)
By Kelly Thesier / MLB.com
Denard Span had four hits and six RBIs, including a bases-clearing triple in a five-run fourth and an RBI single in a four-run eighth. That helped keep the Twins two games behind the Tigers, and it made a winner out of Scott Baker, who retired 13 straight during a 6 1/3-inning solid start.
