One manager cemented his legacy in St. Louis with two World Series championships, three pennants and eight division titles, becoming the winningest manager in franchise history. The other benefited from his experiences in the Gateway City as the 1971 NL MVP, a four-time All-Star and manager of the 1990-95 Redbirds before heading to New York and leading a Yankees dynasty that captured six pennants and four World Series titles. Together, Tony La Russa and Joe Torre enter the National Baseball Hall of Fame this summer as managerial royalty.
