Jays Care helps build safe, youth spaces, including baseball fields, community centres, and youth zones, in under-resourced neighbourhoods and for special populations across Canada. Through a partnership with Toronto Community Housing, The Y, Pathways to Education Canada and Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada, Rookie League introduces kids living in under-resourced communities to the sport of baseball. Rookie League is celebrating its 26th season and will reach 7,900 children in more than 160 communities across Canada in 2014.
Through a $1-million, national partnership with Pathways to Education, Home Run Scholars supports students in under-resourced neighbourhoods across Canada with mentoring, tutoring, and financial support to pursue their educational & career goals.
This kid-friendly luxury suite gives children and youth from a variety of tough life circumstances the chance to cheer on their Toronto Blue Jays at every home game. More than 2,800 children and their parents are invited to the Community Clubhouse each season.
